A lot has changed since I got back from the UK. From the always so fashionable country to a town in India where fashion isn’t really a subject of discussion. And now I am finally in Mumbai, India’s big city to make it large(hopefully). In terms of fashion Mumbai is somewhere between New York and London. Casual chic , sometimes bohemian would be appropriate to describe the fashionistas here. I will be soon posting street style , where you can see it for yourself.
So, I have heard a lot about the chor bazaar here , the famous thieves market where tourists as well as locals visit daily to discover antiques and fascinating quirky little things. I decided that I must go there and experience it for myself. Hence, my friend Sweta and I set out to explore chor bazaar . There are rows of little antique shops where they sell everything ! old fans , vintage jewellery, grandfather clocks, box cameras, Victorian furniture , rusty lunch boxes, lanterns , musical box,cat eye glasses, absolutely everything. If you love to collect antiques , it’s the best place to visit and get your pieces at a good bargained price.
Camera Love
Lookie ! what I found..LV in one of the little run down shops. Fake ofcourse! Was so amused that now, I am a proud owner of this piece, not to worry, I am not going to carry it. Just cherish it.
Fancy Little things
Attar shop near chor bazaar. Was totally fascinated. Sweta ended up buying the fancy attar bottle . Don’t miss out on the designer names.
